The Moses/Weitzman Health System (MWHS) is seeking an experienced, data-driven digital marketer with strong technical skills and a keen sense for style and engaging content. This hands-on, highly motivated, analytical individual will drive marketing strategy, tactical execution, and reporting with the help of the communications team. They will be expected to work at a very fast pace, so speed, without sacrificing attention to detail, and the ability to execute on tasks quickly, is essential. To be successful in the role, you must be willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary to get the job done. The role will lead digital marketing for the entire system, including Community Health Center, Inc., the Weitzman Institute, the National Institute for Medical Assistant Advancement, ConferMED, and the Consortium for Advanced Practive Providers.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Vice President of Communications, the position will have ownership of digital media strategy, content and campaign design and implementation for the MWHS and its programs and affiliates.

This position leads a growing team and currently supervises two employees.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Digital Campaign Strategy:

  • Leading the development of MWHS’s online strategy to integrate with overall organizational goals

  • Strategically executing brand’s digital presence and voice to target and appeal to a variety of audiences with nuance and sensitivity.

  • Planning, development and execution of digital promotion of national programs and campaigns, including on-line advertising, website strategy and design, and deliverables.

  • Identifying trends and bringing new ideas forward that enhance future campaign performance and measurements while collaborating with other departmental teams.

  • Strengthening email marketing strategies and email asset design for large marketing campaigns.

  • Reviewing existing digital content regularly and updating where necessary.

Social Media Engagement:

  • Leading regular (daily/weekly/periodic) content development and posting across the agency.

  • Directing responsive strategy and overseeing day-to-day execution of social community management, including but not limited to monitoring, responding and engaging with online audiences.

  • Planning and executing multi-channel social media (paid and organic) and digital advertising campaigns to drive specifically defined strategic objectives.

Website Administration:

  • Leading direction, design, creation and daily maintenance of more than 10 web properties across the agency, including mwhs1.com, chc1.com, weitzmaninstitute.org, nimaa.edu, confermed.com, and SBHC1.com.

  • Acting as project manager and/or staff lead on creation of new websites and website redesigns as needed to achieve business objectives.

Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conducting analysis and owning and maintaining site metrics and campaign reporting.

  • Overseeing and tracking analytics across channels, developing reporting metrics and maintaining dashboards to provide insights and actionable recommendations to evolve strategy, drive results and report to agency leadership.

  • Analyzing and interpreting data from Google Analytics and other Analytics solutions.

Other duties:

  • Coordinating closely with agency departments to ensure alignment with operational goals

  • Providing strategic guidance on digital and social media best practices

  • Interacting with and managing multiple vendors.

  • Contributing to the planning and/or executing of community events with the communications team, and directing on-site social media coverage.

  • Keeping completely informed on agency programs and activities as well as state, national and global news to align content with current events.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.A. or B.S. required, graduate degree a plus.

  • 8-10 years of progressive responsibility in communications and/or marketing roles, with at least 3-5 years experience creating and executing organic and paid digital marketing strategy across multiple platforms and channels, with a proven track record of implementing impactful campaigns.

  • Expertise with online marketing, digital advertising and engagement tools and an understanding of current trends and best practices.

  • A proven commitment to using data and analytics to drive and guide performance.

  • A strong working knowledge of content marketing and social media practice and trends.

  • Strong understanding of web governance best practices, including GDPR.

  • Experience working in collaboration with IT leaders and teams. Experience with intranet management/implementation a plus.

  • Hands-on experience with SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, CRM software and content marketing tools.

  • Expertise with HTML/CSS, WordPress, the Adobe suite, the Microsoft suite.

  • Experience managing multiple vendors.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Needs to be highly skilled with writing and editing for public consumption.

  • Possess strong interpersonal skills: a team player who is positive, respectful, and has a great attitude.

  • Ability to multitask, learn, work, think, and adjust quickly in a fast-changing work environment, and thrive under pressure.

  • Functional goal and detail-oriented with effective time management and organizational skills.

  • Experience in a health care setting helpful but not required.
